About Conor O'Neill, M.D.

For over thirty years, Conor O'Neill, M.D., has specialized in diagnostic and non-surgical treatment of patients with chronic back and neck pain. Dr. O'Neill practices interventional pain management and founded the California Spine Diagnostics Medical Group in San Francisco. Dr. O'Neill is board certified in Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology, and Pain Management. He has performed more than 50,000 back and neck interventional procedures.

Conor O'Neill, M.D., also sits on scientific and editorial boards, is an active researcher and has contributed to more than one-hundred articles and presentations.

After 24 years in private practice, in January 2016, Dr. O'Neill joined the Spine Center at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). At UCSF he is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics and leads the non-operative spine program. At UCSF Dr. O'Neill is based at the UCSF Spine Center at the UCSF Parnassus campus.
