About Conor O'Neill, M.D.
For over twenty years, Conor O'Neill, M.D., has specialized in diagnostic and non-surgical treatment of patients with chronic back and neck pain. Dr. O'Neill practices interventional pain management and founded the California Spine Diagnostics Medical Group in San Francisco. Dr. O'Neill is board certified in Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology, and Pain Management. He has performed more than 40,000 back and neck interventional procedures.
Conor O'Neill, M.D., also sits on scientific and editorial boards, is an active researcher and has contributed to more than one-hundred articles and presentations.
After 24 years in private practice, in January 2016, Dr. O'Neill joined the Spine Center at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). At UCSF he is a Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and leads the development of a value-based non-operative spine program. At UCSF Dr. O'Neill is based at the Orthopedic Institute, a state-of-the-art facility at the UCSF Mission Bay campus.
